A True Gangster Memoir
Timmy Connolly was a made man in the Boston Irish mob and an up and coming lieutenant in Whitey Bulger's Irish mob. That is, until he got too big for his britches and his two psychopathic bosses decided to set him up.
In 1990 he went to the FBI and revealed the double agent dealings of corrupt FBI Agent John Connolly, and agreed to become a top echelon informant on Jim Bulger and his partner, Stevie "The Rifleman" Flemmi. In 1995, his two bosses were indicted. Later it was revealed that both were top echelon FBI informants working to bring down the Italian Mafia. Flemmi would plead guilty to ten murders and accept ten life sentences with no chance at parole. Whitey Bulger would ultimately become America's Most Wanted Fugitive and America's Number One Mobster, until his capture in June 2011. Bulger was sentenced to two life sentences in November 2013.
Now after numerous outsider attempts at piecing the story together, learn the true inside story, from the one person who was both on the inside, up close and personal, and later working with the FBI.
